I'm still unable to get sound to play on the sample video. This fixed the problem and the media shell displayed again! I assume it's in some read only state of the head unit? Went back to my computer, formated the USB and reinstalled the beta files. The strange thing is your media shell would show briefly if I unplugged the USB, selected, FM or XM, then NAV. I tried a few things but still wouldn't come up. This time when I put the USB stick in, your media shell wouldn't come back up (since it probably wasn't closed properly in the first place?). Since I couldn't bring your media shell back up to hit X and close it properly I had to turn off the car, and try again. Unfortunately this cleared your media shell and went directly to the stock mp3 control. I seem to remember that the video audio is separate so I tried loading a CD at this point to see if the mp3 sound would start the video sound. the test video played but there was no sound. I was in FM mode at the time as I didn't even have a CD loaded. This despite not being able to select photo mode as instructed since I don't have any wallpaper loaded right now. followed the directions and the shell came up no problem. Hi Dezoris, thanks so much for getting this beta updatre out! I tried it briefly and while I don't haev screenshots of the file directory yet, here are some initial observations.
